Make-a-Wish gives seriously ill children the chance to do something extraordinary. For many children, a wish is an opportunity to do something they never thought possible when life is tough

To have their wish granted, a child needs to be aged between 3 and 17 years, living with a life-threatening medical condition and must not have had a wish before. The child’s treating consultant makes the final determination of whether the child is medically eligible

Clare’s Wish Foundation’s aim is to grant the wishes of adults who have a terminal medical illness. To enrich and enhance their quality of life. A wish granted provides respite from the normal routines of hospital, doctors and treatments. Clare’s Wish believe a wish can have a lasting impact that involves the whole family and can create memories that last a lifetime.

Clare’s Wish Foundation will accept a referral for adults (over 18) with a terminal medical condition and within the Republic of Ireland.

The consultant or doctor makes the final determination as to whether the wish request is medically terminal and also in a medical position to participate in a wish requested.
